We leave Barcelona towards Girona where our guide will give the rich history of this city since Roman times, through the medieval period, the Jewish Quarter to the most cool and modern parts of the city.
The culture and traditions of the past are reflected throughout the city, through the route we discover the Girona Cathedral, built between the eleventh and eighteenth centuries and characterizes by the longest Gothic nave in the world, the Old Town and the Jewish Quarter, one of Europe's best preserved Medieval Jewish neighborhoods.
The route passes over various bridges in the city and among them one by Gustave Eiffel in 1877 a very modern iron bridge that creates a strong contrast with the old buildings of which the city lies.
After having a coffee in one of the cozy squares of the old town we drive to Figueras, a small town near the French border, where he was born and died one of the most famous Spanish artists to the world: Salvador Dalí.
After lunch we will visit the Dalí Theatre-Museum, a building that the same Dali built in 1960 on the ruins of the old theater, this is considered the most important artist's work and where his artistic life and you can discover the fascinating world of Surrealism.
